Is there a cooling off period when booking a holiday?
The 24 hour cooling-off period will begin once a booking request has been accepted, or when the quote has been paid for. The cooling-off period only applies to bookings that are 60 days or more away. After 24 hours, your chosen cancellation policy applies as normal.
How long before a holiday can you cancel?
The company should pay any money you’re owed within 14 days of cancellation. If you change your mind about going, you can cancel but you’ll probably have to pay a fee. You might be covered for cancelling a trip if you have travel insurance – check your policy or contact the insurance company if you’re not sure.
